Meanwhile, I can’t see any reason why my mildly icy Cumbrian weeds should be regarded as any more exotic, let alone profound, than your neighbour’s cabbages. In fact, given our relative proficiencies when it comes to photography, I’m more than flattered to discover the remarkable affinity between our New Year’s Day photos.
